Groucho Marx once quipped that he wouldn’t join any club that would have him for a member. Somehow it seems the more exclusive the club the more people want to join it. The Caterpillar Club is also an exclusive club but it is doubtful if many people would want to be eligible for membership. The Catrepillar alluded to in the the title is the silk caterpillar and silk was once used to make parachutes. The club is limited to those people who have had their lives saved by a parachute.
